Terms and conditions

The "What’s on a label?" iPad Competition is an initiative between safefood and the Food Standards Agency to promote the "What’s on a label?" resource for secondary schools in Northern Ireland. By entering the competition entrants are deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions and be bound by them.


  • The competition is for post-primary teachers
  • One entry per school is accepted


  • All entries must be posted back to Food Standards Agency in Northern Ireland, 10a–10c, Clarendon Road, Belfast, BT13BG at the school’s own expense
  • All entries must be received no later than 5pm on Wednesday 30 November, 2016


  • The prize is an Apple iPad
  • The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative
  • The winner will be notified by 21st December 2016


  • Entrants may be required by the competition organisers to participate in publicity activities including interviews, photo and/or video sessions
  • The competition organisers reserve the right to use such material in any reasonable manner deemed fit
