Simple smoothie - raspberry and banana
Fun way to get children interested in fruit
Fruit is a rich source of vitamins and minerals - not to mention the fact that it tastes great!
Ingredients - Serves 2 Adults
- 80g / 3 oz. of frozen raspberries
- 1 medium banana
- 62g / 2 oz. of low-fat natural yogurt
- 90ml / 3 fl oz. of semi-skimmed milk
- 4 ice cubes
- 90ml / 3 fl oz. of unsweetened orange juice
Method
- Make sure all the ingredients are chilled before use
- Wash and peel fruit
- Blend fruit, yoghurt, milk and juice together using a hand held blender or a smoothie maker until creamy
- Add ice cubes and blend again
- Pour into two glasses and serve immediately

Smoothies are one way to eat more fruit and they only take a few minutes to make.
