Chewy apricot oatmeal
So simple and easy to make!
Try this simple and delicious breakfast to warm you up on those cold mornings
Ingredients - Serves 1 Adult
- 40g / 1½oz. of oats
- 4 tablespoons of semi-skimmed milk
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 2 dried apricots, chopped
Method
- Add the oats, milk and water to a bowl and microwave for 1 to 1½ minutes, until the oats have absorbed the liquid and thickened.
- Add the chopped apricots to the porridge, mix together and enjoy!
Serving Suggestions
Increase your good dietary fat and fibre intake by adding some chopped nuts like almonds and walnuts

If mornings are usually a rush, soak your oats in water overnight in the fridge. Ready to eat in the morning!
