  • Almost half of people (46%) never exercise or play sport, this number has increased in recent years.
  • More than half of people do not do any vigorous physical activity in a week. Almost half (47%) do not do any moderate physical activity.
  • On a typical day two-thirds of people spend between 2.5 and 4.5 hours sitting.
  • The main reason reported for not playing sport is a lack of time.
