Obesity related cancer trends in young adults

A recent study published by The Lancet found that there is a rising trend in obesity related cancers in young adults aged between 25 and 49 years compared to older generations in the United States.

It was found that obesity increased the risk of 6 out of 12 obesity related cancers identified in the study, namely;

  • Multiple myeloma
  • Colorectal
  • Endometrial
  • Gallbladder
  • Kidney
  • Pancreatic
