Irish Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) 2010

The findings from the HBSC Ireland survey 2010 have been published. The results showed that overall one in five children eats fruit and vegetables more than once a day. 14% of children reported never having a breakfast on weekdays. One in five children reported ever going to school or bed hungry. This was an increase of 4% since 2006. Boys, younger children and those from lower social classes were all more likely to report going to bed or school hungry. Read more about the findings of the HBSC survey.
