Children sedentary for more than 60% of their waking hours

New findings from the Cork Children’s Lifestyle Study (CCLaS) reveal that children are sedentary for more than 60% of their waking hours. The CCLaS Study is a study of school children aged 8 to 11 years old living in Cork city and Mitchelstown. Children wore accelerometers for 7-days to measure activity levels.
