Food Poverty: Information for action

A workshop hosted by the All-island Food Poverty Network and supported by safefood and the Food Standards Agency.

Aim of the Workshop

This event will share new insights into the area of food poverty, looking at current research and the extent of the issue on the island of Ireland. We will also highlight the work being carried out by the Belfast Food Network to tackle food poverty and increase access to affordable healthy food in Belfast city.

Who should attend?

The event will be of interest to those working in government departments and government agencies, academia and those in strategic positions in the voluntary community sector, that have a common interest in reducing food poverty on the island of Ireland.
