A workshop hosted by the All-island Obesity Action Forum supported by safefood and the Association for the Study of Obesity on the island of Ireland.
Aim of the Workshop
The aim of this workshop was to highlight childhood obesity as an important area for the promotion of healthy eating and physical activity. The event focused specifically on key learnings to date. Practical advice was provided on how best to approach childhood obesity at a community level while also highlighting key areas to tackle moving forward.
Who should attend?
The event was of interest to those working in obesity related areas in the voluntary/community sector, academia, industry and government departments and government agencies.
