Invitation to comment on safefood’s Customer Service Charter

Monday 30 July, 2018. safefood is one of six North-South Implementation Bodies established by the Agreement between the Government of Ireland and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

As part of our commitment to Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Agreement Act 1998, we would like to engage in consultation with various stakeholders on aspects of our policy making and would like to seek views with regards to our Customer Service Charter.

The Consultation Paper has been issued to a number of organisations. It is available here in our Offical Papers or by contacting safefood’s Human Resource Department at:

The consultation period is for 8 weeks and will end on 21 September, 2018. We would particularly like to hear from groups and organisations representing people with regard to religious beliefs, political opinion, racial group, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation and people with disabilities or with dependants. Comments from local community groups, voluntary groups and the general public are also welcome.

The Customer Service Charter can be provided in a number of accessible formats and languages upon request. Please send your comments and completed consultation feedback to:
