Crackers about cheese
Suitable for vegetarians
Crackers and cheese make a great snack but when out and about can go a bit soggy. Here is a recipe for the lunchbox to prevent this happening.
Ingredients - Serves 1 Adult
- 2 wholegrain cracker-bread
- 1 low-fat cheese spread triangle
- 1 small tomato, sliced, wrapped in cling-film
- 4 slices of cucumber, wrapped in cling-film
Method
- Open lunchbox, take out crackers
- Spread the cheese on top
- Add the tomato and cucumber
Serving Suggestions
Try low-fat cheese spreads, cream cheese or cheddar. Mix and match toppings to create your own!

Cheese is a great source or protein and calcium and with many low-fat options available it’s a great lunchbox filler.
