A workshop hosted by the All-island Obesity Action Forum and supported by safefood
Aim of the Workshop
This event will focus on maternal obesity and specifically highlight the implications of maternal obesity and current interventions on the island of Ireland. Recent research on physical activity and pregnancy will also be presented and we will get a midwifery insight into the current challenges of maternal obesity from a practical perspective.
Who should attend?
The event will be of interest to those working in obesity related or maternal health settings in the voluntary community sector, academia, industry and government departments and government agencies.
