Grilled salmon cutlets

Salmon is a quick-cook food and it is rich in healthy omega-3 fats and vitamin D. The perfect food for a healthy brain and nerves and to help protect against heart disease.

 Grilled salmonIngredients

  • 4 salmon steaks
  • 1 lemon  
  • 1 large head broccoli 
  • 1 large carrot
  • Baby potatoes
     

 Method 

  1. Pre-heat the grill for 10 minutes on a medium heat. 
  2. Line the grill pan with foil  
  3. Place the salmon under the grill for 3-4 minutes each side 
  4. Serve with the broccoli, carrots and baby potatoes.

Tip

Salmon is another quick-cook food and it is rich in healthy omega-3 fats and vitamin D.  Omega-3 fats are needed for a healthy heart.  Vitamin D is needed to help your body to absorb calcium form the food you eat and so it is very important for healthy bones. Nutritionists and Dietitians recommend that you eat oil-rich fish once or twice a week.
